“ I literally can't say enough good things about Sweet Rice because even after a week of eating here, my boyfriend and I are still raving about it. Sweet Rice is owned and run by a Thai family (I believe), so you best believe that the food is incredibly authentic. The very nice lady gave us incredible recommendations, and she was so sweet and kind. She brought out lots of Thai spice options, which were fantastic additions to our entrees. Pricing is honestly very reasonable for the amount of food that you get, and you also have to keep in mind which neighborhood Sweet Rice is located in. The menu looks incredible and we honestly wanted to try everything, but we opted for the duck fat fried rice and this other rice dish that was so freaking good. I've never had Thai food this good in Dallas much less anywhere else in Texas, so that's how you know this is truly a gem. The duck fat fried rice was so unique and so fragrant, and I would come back just to order this again. The other rice dish that we got was also so yummy with the meat and the rice perfectly cooked. The sauce from the meat seeped into the sauce, so we were scarfing down bite after bite. I truly can't say enough good things about Sweet Rice. This has become one of my boyfriend's and my favorite restaurants in all of Texas, and we plan on bringing our family and friends here. Please come try it out! They're worth the visit. ”
“ I am obsessed with this spot. I came in today for the first time. I'm not sure how long they've been here but I know it's been a super long time. We don't have a lot of Thai food in this part of Dallas and I'm so glad they're here. we must protect them at all costs. First of all you walk in it's very clean. It's extremely cute. You can tell it's very eco- friendly. All of the packaging is compostable, which I love. The people working there are so sweet so friendly, so helpful. They even have a little back patio area with barstools you can sit at when the weather is nice. They have a huge menu of all sorts of Thai and Lao food, including standard fair, appetizers, and street food. They also have Boba and a few desserts. Heres what we ordered- Thai style papaya salad, steamed potstickers, crying tiger and khao moo dang. Also ordered a Thai lemon tea boba with crystal bobas. Sadly they don't have popping boba but nice that they even have boba! I forgot to ask for it less sweet so it was quite on the sweet side but nothing adding in some water couldn't easily fix. They were so sweet and brought us out some crispy chicken skin chips on the house. They said that they thought we were Thai based on our order and then asked if we'd ever been to Thailand. I'm sure they were just being nice, but it was incredibly kind and thoughtful and totally made my day So glad for more Thai/asian places on this side of town because the options are very limited. I cannot wait to come back and try everything on the menu. All the food was 10/10. Loved it all. Everything about the restaurant is adorable as well. They even have a front door ramp that makes it wheelchair and stroller accessible! You have to try this place out- you won't be disappointed! ”

I was recommended the green curry, and I can vouch that it was AMAZING, such a fantastic balance of flavors, and even though I'm not normally a fan of eggplant it was perfectly cooked and tender. The serving size was exceedingly generous, and even though I tried, I couldn't finish it all. I am going to have to go back MANY times so I can try all the other delicious-looking items on their menu. ”

Medium spicy is a good kick for me for the noodle soup . The staff is really nice and friendly. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for Thai food around this area. ”
